Join our team. Change lives.
Independent Living Housing Society is a non profit agency that enables the Individuals we support to live a life without limits. And home is where living begins.
I've worked at ILHS for 18 years. It has been the best job I've ever had. I love my work, enjoy time with my co-workers (some have become my best friends), the Individuals supported have changed my life, and my bosses have been brilliant. I wouldn't change anything. I look forward to work each day and have a real sense of contributing something of value.
- Dan, Residential Care Worker
ILHS enjoys a good reputation as a wonderful place to work offering employees great benefits and the opportunity to work in different locations while fostering fulfilling relationships with Individuals supported. Residential Care Workers support Individuals with physical care, daily life skills and behaviour management as needed.
All employees must have a current CPR and First Aid Certificate, a Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract, TB Test and in some cases a Restricted Class 4 Drivers License.
We accept applications for Residential Care Workers on a continuing basis. To find out more please read the job description and then submit your application. All other positions with ILHS will be posted here when there are openings.
